A Quick Pitch can Have Massive Impact.

WEOC was formed two years ago to support women entrepreneurs at all stages of their venture pathways. Since access to capital is a hurdle for female founders who are just starting their ventures, we created a pitch competition to help address this.

WEOC Brochure

WEOC Launch Women Pitch Competition supports women entrepreneurs throughout the WEOC service area counties (Adams, Allen, Blackford, DeKalb, Delaware, Grant, Huntington, Jay, Kosciusko, Lagrange, Madison, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, Whitley). Through this competition, women who have recently started or hope to start a business can get input and coaching on their business plans and may potentially be selected to pitch their business to an expert panel at a public event.

The top two pitches will each receive a $5,000 investment from WEOC along with other in-kind benefits to support their ventures. Additionally, all finalists will be invited to participate in a 2 to 15-week diverse entrepreneur accelerator program hosted by WEOC.

Thank you to those who joined us to support the finalists and connect with others in the entrepreneurial community at the Pitch Competition. It was held on Saturday, September 23, 2017. Our Keynote Speaker Danielle Strachman spoke about her experience investing in early-stage companies.
