MEETING MADNESS- CUT THE CLUTTER
(OR THE OTHER C WORD OF YOUR CHOOSING!)

When my kids were younger, I asked them what they thought I did for a living. My three boys were quick to respond. They said, “Dad you are always in meetings, and you eat business lunches out a lot.” They certainly simplified my professional life, but as we have all come to realize...The key is to eliminate “meeting clutter” and become more intentional in the use of your time and others (in fact, time is really about your energy). In turn, this can help ensure employees are more engaged, invigorated and productive.

MILKSHAKES AND CAMERA TALKS :
YOUR ANSWERS ARE IN

Gary Fry, The NIIC's Student Venture Lab (SVL) business coach discusses the importance of going 'above and beyond' when providing service to a client or customer from The Milkshake Moment by Steven S. Little.

We asked the question:

"How many times in the last 4–5 days have you experienced a “milkshake moment”—a time where a vendor/merchant went above and beyond to deliver the personalized customer experience you desired?"

You answered with the following feedback:

75% of those who have taken the survey stated that they had experienced just a single 'milkshake momnet' in the preceding 4–5 days. The remaining 25% stated that they had received none.

If you haven't one to receive exceptional customer service, or even if you are one who has—let's be the the people who initiate that thought into our own work culture.
