New Businesses in Roanoke

Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly Staff Reports

For Immediate Release

March 31, 2021, Ronaoke.

Flourish and Flounce and Ella Chic Boutique have opened at 247 N. Main St., Roanoke. Also, Outer Grace Boutique of Fort Wayne is changing its name and moving to Roanoke.

Despite a global pandemic, founders and owners Candice Munson of Flourish and Flounce, and Stacy Callahan, Ella Chic Boutique, grew their businesses. Opening a storefront is a visible show of that growth.

Munson is a U.S. veteran and serves in munitions at the 122nd Fighter Wing in Fort Wayne. She received funding from the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center in the form of $10,000 convertible debenture as both the inspirational and financial capital to expand. Additional funding opportunities, like Kiva Northeast Indiana, are available through The NIIC.

Munson and Callahan are co-locating their businesses. Flourish and Flounce sells original table top designs that you can purchase one time or order as a yearly subscription. Ella Chic Boutique sells “unique clothing at a modest price with a great fit.”

Outer Grace Boutique will be reopening in Roanoke as Magnolia + Moss Mercantile at 215 E. 2nd St.. Currently at 511 W. Wayne St., Suite 101, in Fort Wayne, it will be closed April 4-13 for spring break and rearranging after a warehouse sale. It will have a grand reopening in Roanoke in mid-May or June 1. Owner Sarah Medina started it as a mobile boutique.
