Local Communications Skills Business Owner Becomes Author
Tammy Y. Allen Director, Marketing & Programs, The NIIC
Fort Wayne resident, The Verbal Edge business owner, communications skills trainer, and coach Elizabeth MacDonald is also now an author. Her experience in television broadcasting, communications, high school teaching, the airline industry, and her current role culminated in publication of her book, Sharpen Your Verbal Edge, 101 Tips to Enhance Your Professional Communications Skills.
This book includes some tips many of us in Northeast Indiana and the Tampa Bay area have learned from MacDonald through networking, coaching, and professional workshops. The book is a perfect example of what MacDonald does so well, providing bite-sized examples to effectively tackle business-world situations.
“The NIIC and Elizabeth have been friends for a long time. Elizabeth’s techniques and ideas are invaluable, and her recent workshops in our WEOC program have been very well received. We are so excited for her completion of one of her life’s milestones in publishing her book, and look forward to continuing to share her message. We purchased copies of her book for our NIIC library, for our team members and clients to read and apply to become more effective and engaging communicators,” said Karl R. LaPan, President & CEO, The NIIC.
You can order her book by visiting Amazon Smile (Be sure to tag Northeast Indiana Innovation Center as the non-profit!).
