Innovation Center success touted–Economy challenges entrepreneurs, county hears

“The annual visit by the head of the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center to the Allen County commissioners led to a discussion Friday morning of the challenges in encouraging entrepreneurs in today’s economy.

Karl R. LaPan, the center’s president and chief executive officer, told commissioners that more people are deciding to work for wages rather than face the uncertainty, stress and isolation of starting and growing a business…

However, he said the local center has continued to have success according to several measures.”
